Understanding Our Products
At ModernU, most of our products are handcrafted by skilled artisans across India. Due to this handmade process, every piece is unique and may have slight variations. These natural imperfections are part of the charm of handcrafted products and are not considered defects.
Each item undergoes a strict quality check before dispatch. Therefore, ModernU does not offer returns or refunds. We only provide exchanges in specific cases, as outlined below.
Exchange Policy
- Exchanges are accepted only if the product received is damaged or incorrect.
- Minor irregularities, color variations, or finishing differences that occur due to handcrafted work will not be considered valid reasons for exchange.
Mandatory Parcel Opening Video
- A continuous parcel opening video (from start to finish, without cuts, pauses, or edits) is compulsory for any exchange request.
- The product must be clearly shown in the video, and any damage or issue should be highlighted.
- Exchange requests without a parcel opening video will not be entertained.
Reporting an Issue
- Any damage or incorrect product must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the order via Email- modernuofficial@gmail.com
- Once our team verifies the video and confirms the issue, you will be informed about the approval or rejection of the exchange request through email.
Shipping & Product Condition
- We do not provide reverse pickup services. Customers are required to ship the product back to us.
- Return shipping charges will be borne by the customer.
- Please ensure safe packaging while sending the product back. ModernU will not be responsible for any additional damage during return transit.
- The product must be unused, unworn, and untampered to qualify for an exchange.
After We Receive the Product
- Once the returned item reaches us, it will be inspected.

Upon successful verification, a replacement (fresh or correct product) will be dispatched.
Additional Information
- All exchanges are subject to stock availability.
- Refunds are issued only in cases of lost shipments or if the replacement product is unavailable.
- Our working hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday). We request your patience while our team reviews your query.
